Agar affirmed Sudan\u2019s readiness to cooperate with Eritrea and all countries in the region to establish a strategy to combat the phenomenon of \u201csoft occupation,\u201d which, he said, is carried out through agents and proxies within African states themselves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"1032\">For his part, the Eritrean President expressed his solidarity with the government and people of Sudan, noting that Eritrea is hosting large numbers of Sudanese who consider it their second home\u2014without any restrictions or conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1211\">At the end of the visit, the Vice Chairman of the Sovereignty Council held a meeting with the Sudanese community in Eritrea and briefed them on the latest developments in Sudan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vice Chairman of Sudan\u2019s Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar, met on Friday with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.
