Satellite images published on Saturday by Yale University\u2019s Humanitarian Research Lab show that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue to carry out mass disposal of bodies in El-Fasher, North Darfur.
\nIn its report, the lab stated that it \u201cassesses that the RSF has continued to conduct mass body disposal operations in areas that previously contained large civilian populations before the mass killings that began on October 26.\u201d
\nIt noted that satellite imagery detected body disposal operations at two locations: one at the Saudi Hospital and the other in the First-Class neighborhood, where the lab had previously identified evidence consistent with mass killings.
\nThe First-Class neighborhood is the last area that had remained crowded with civilians who had been displaced from other neighborhoods and from the Abu Shouk camp during the attacks that preceded the RSF\u2019s takeover of El-Fasher.
\nAccording to UN reports and human rights organizations, the RSF carried out mass killings, the execution of patients, and the rape of women after taking control of El-Fasher.
\nThe lab reported no visible activity in satellite images across seven markets in El-Fasher since the RSF seized the city, including the Grand Market, Om Dafsou, Nivasha, Abuja, and the livestock markets.
\nIt explained that the combination of body disposal through burning, the absence of traditional burial patterns, and the lack of activity in the markets raises serious concerns about the fate of civilians in El-Fasher.
\nThe lab also said it observed RSF vehicle movements at the El-Fasher water station with no signs of civilian presence, noting that the station sustained damage in late August and September 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
