{"id":57653,"date":"2025-11-23T20:41:04","date_gmt":"2025-11-23T17:41:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudanevents.com\/?p=57653"},"modified":"2025-11-23T20:41:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-23T17:41:04","slug":"preparations-for-the-groundbreaking-of-reference-laboratories-for-geological-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudanevents.com\/index.php\/2025\/11\/23\/preparations-for-the-groundbreaking-of-reference-laboratories-for-geological-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Preparations for the Groundbreaking of Reference Laboratories for Geological Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"162\" data-end=\"414\">The <strong data-start=\"166\" data-end=\"198\">Governor of River Nile State<\/strong>, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdelmajed Abu Qroon, received on Sunday the <strong data-start=\"267\" data-end=\"310\">Minister of Minerals, Nour Al-Daem Taha<\/strong>, at the start of an official visit aimed at reviewing the progress of mining activities in the state.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"846\">The minister was accompanied by <strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"471\">Ahmed Haroun Al-Tom<\/strong>, Director-General of the <strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"542\">General Authority for Geological Research<\/strong>, along with a high-level delegation from the ministry and relevant agencies, including <strong data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"647\">Issam Babiker<\/strong>, Director of the General Administration for Financial and Human Resources. The visit\u2019s agenda includes monitoring performance and reviewing the sector\u2019s efforts in supporting the national economy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"1306\">This visit comes as part of an assessment of production operations and a review of the mining sector across Sudan\u2019s states, as well as to enhance coordination between the central authorities and the state, in preparation for creating a more advanced and efficient working environment in mining and geological services. These efforts are part of the ongoing arrangements to launch the <strong data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1290\">Reference Laboratories Project for Geological Research<\/strong> in the state.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1595\">During the visit, Minister Nour Al-Daem Taha is expected to <strong data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1427\">lay the foundation stone for the reference laboratories<\/strong>, which are considered among the largest mining facilities in River Nile State.
