A delegation from the Republic of South Sudan, headed by Tut Gatluak, Advisor to President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Security Affairs, and including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum, and a number of technical experts, visited the oil export terminals in Port Sudan\u2014Bashayer 1 and 2\u2014accompanied by Sudan\u2019s Minister of Energy, Engineer and Advisor Al-Mu\u2018tasim Ibrahim.<\/p>\n
The delegation held discussions with Petrodar Pipeline Company (PETCO) and Bashayer Pipeline Company (BAPCO), which transport South Sudan\u2019s crude oil through pipeline networks. The talks focused on ensuring the smooth flow of crude oil exports, maintaining operational continuity, and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in this vital sector, which is of great importance to both nations.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Energy affirmed his ministry\u2019s technical readiness to operate and maintain petroleum facilities in service of both countries.
