The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gulf Laboratory for Verification and Conformity, aimed at enhancing technical cooperation and developing the conformity assessment system in Sudan.
\nThe MoU was signed on behalf of SSMO by Dr. Ilham Saleh Obeid, Director General of Inspection and Quality Assurance, in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Nabil, Director of the International Relations Unit.
\nThe agreement seeks to strengthen conformity and verification processes for products and services in accordance with approved standards, contributing to improved quality infrastructure and support for the national economy.
\nIt also includes cooperation in technical capacity building to ensure optimal use of laboratory equipment in line with international best practices.
\nBoth sides affirmed that the MoU represents an important step toward strengthening partnerships in laboratory services, integrated laboratory solutions, trade facilitation, consumer protection, and support for reconstruction and sustainable development efforts in Sudan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
