Morocco coach Walid Regragui has confirmed captain Achraf Hakimi is fit to face Zambia in their final \u200bGroup A clash at the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday after two false starts in the competition so far.<\/p>\n
Hakimi was crowned Africa\u2019s best player at the Confederation of African Football awards last month but appeared \u200cat the \u200cceremony in Rabat \u200con \u2060crutches, \u200bsparking doubt \u200cover whether he would recover in time for the finals, according to Reuters.<\/p>\n
The Paris St Germain right-back said he felt ready to play on the eve of the tournament, but has not been used in \u2060host Morocco\u2019s opening two games, a 2-0 victory \u200cover Comoros and a \u200d1-1 draw against \u200dMali.<\/p>\n
However, Regragui said on Sunday that \u200dthe player is now available and thanked PSG for aiding the player\u2019s recovery and releasing him early to link up with \u200bthe national team and work with their medical staff.<\/p>\n
