Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, deputy to the Commander-in-Chief, and head of the Supreme Committee for Preparing the Environment for Citizens\u2019 Return to Khartoum State, praised the performance of the Health Sector Rehabilitation Committee for its major achievements in restoring health services and rehabilitating hospitals and centers in Khartoum.<\/p>\n
During a meeting of the Supreme Committee, attended by Sovereignty Council member Dr. Nawara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Taher, several ministers, and heads of subcommittees, General Jaber also commended the Health and Environmental Sanitation Committees for the significant improvements achieved across their various work areas.<\/p>\n
He reiterated directives to the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum to prioritize supplying vital facilities with electricity and called on the Ministry of Finance to contribute to rehabilitating the public transportation sector in Khartoum, expressing full satisfaction with the ministry\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n
General Jaber emphasized the importance of coordinating external support according to required standards and reaffirmed Sudan\u2019s desire to cooperate with serious organizations to support and assist Sudanese citizens in overcoming the war\u2019s impact on public service sectors.<\/p>\n
Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, chair of the Health Sector Committee, highlighted the achievements of the health and environmental committees, and the financial performance of various committees, which contributed to a significant transformation in the capital\u2019s appearance, improved healthcare delivery, epidemic control, and the restoration of more than 87% of health units and centers. He noted that remaining work, including rehabilitation of specialized hospitals and diagnostic equipment, is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n
Dr. Ibrahim also pointed out progress in environmental sanitation, including debris removal and the continued sustainability of sanitation operations through investment partnerships, praising the Ministry of Finance for fulfilling a large portion of the committees\u2019 requirements that enabled these achievements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
