Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza conducted an extensive field tour on Saturday covering the Al-Mogran area, Al-Gh\u0627\u0628\u0629 Street, and central Khartoum, as part of efforts to assess services and advance the state government\u2019s reconstruction agenda following severe damage to infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tour included the Al-Mogran Health Center, where the governor reviewed the completion of maintenance work under the state\u2019s plan to rehabilitate service facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He directed that necessary medical equipment be provided swiftly and that the center be reinforced with health personnel, paving the way for the resumption of medical services later this week. He stressed the importance of restoring health facilities, given their central role in stabilizing living and health conditions for residents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For his part, Acting Director General of the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, Dr. Taha Al-Kabbashi, announced that all technical and administrative arrangements for reopening the Al-Mogran Health Center would be completed by the end of the week. He noted that this step falls within the ministry\u2019s policy of completing the map of primary healthcare facilities and reviving the state\u2019s health system.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al-Kabbashi praised the continued support provided by the Khartoum governor to the health sector, particularly in rehabilitating damaged facilities and enabling their rapid return to service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the governor inspected rehabilitation works on Al-Gh\u0627\u0628\u0629 Street, one of the infrastructure restoration projects underway in the state. He reviewed ongoing backfilling works nearing completion, ahead of the start of asphalt paving, which is expected to improve traffic flow and ease citizens\u2019 movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tour also covered central Khartoum, where the governor observed efforts to remove debris and rubble, clean streets and affected areas, and prepare the public environment as part of initiatives led by Khartoum Locality to improve the capital\u2019s urban appearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the same context, the governor inspected rehabilitation works on Palace Street, stressing the need to accelerate implementation and enhance coordination among relevant authorities to complete projects on schedule and to the required standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Khartoum governor reaffirmed the state government\u2019s commitment to sustained fieldwork and close monitoring of service and development projects, emphasizing that the current phase requires collective efforts to rebuild what the war has destroyed and to restore essential services for citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
