This coincides with what he described as national victories and the return of normal life to Khartoum State, as well as the lifting of the siege on the cities of Al-Dilling and Kadugli.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In a press statement, the authority\u2019s director general said Sudan is steadily moving toward fully clearing its territory of what he described as the \u201cdefilement\u201d of the rebel militia and its supporters, noting that these victories are strengthening the climate of stability and opening broader horizons for work and production.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Consultant Geologist Ahmed Haroun Al-Toum explained that the authority is entering 2026 with a clear vision based on the principle of \u201cone hand builds while the other carries arms,\u201d reflecting what he described as the integration between the battle of national reconstruction and the battle for dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He confirmed that priorities in the new budget include creating a suitable and stable work environment across all units of the authority, continuing the comprehensive geological survey project for Sudan, and launching the authority\u2019s reference laboratory project to localize geochemical analyses required for scientific research. This is in addition to enhancing job satisfaction, improving institutional performance efficiency, increasing production and productivity, and contributing effectively to the state\u2019s general budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He added that the authority aims for 2026 to be a true year of launch toward major national goals, while continuing its national and scientific role in serving Sudan across all regions.
