In a strategic step to strengthen South\u2013South economic cooperation, the Chairman of the Sudanese Exporters Chamber, Dr. Wagdi Mirghani, held a high-level meeting with the President of the Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX), Mr. Hassan Sentissi El Idrissi, at the association\u2019s headquarters in Casablanca, in the presence of Dr. Al-Jaili Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Consul at the Sudanese Embassy in Rabat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The discussions focused on formulating a shared vision to develop trade exchange mechanisms, with emphasis on leveraging the geopolitical positions of both countries as gateways to African and global markets. Key topics included building a strategic partnership aimed at removing barriers to the flow of goods and services, as well as exploring promising opportunities by identifying priority sectors, notably food industries, agricultural products, and livestock.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both sides also discussed ways to integrate markets and open new marketing channels for national products in both countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting concluded with agreement on an implementation roadmap that moves beyond theoretical frameworks into practical action, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Launching an intensive program for exchanging trade delegations and field visits among exporters.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Establishing joint platforms to showcase investment and production opportunities.<\/strong><\/li>\n

    Both parties affirmed that the meeting reflects a shared political and economic will to strengthen ties between Khartoum and Rabat.
