The committee further stressed the enforcement of directives issued by the Security and Defense Council prohibiting regular and supporting forces from carrying weapons in public places, limiting arms-bearing only to personnel assigned to site security duties within their areas of responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The committee revealed that intensive anti-drug trafficking and drug abuse campaigns had resulted in the arrest of several suspects against whom cases were filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. It also disclosed that 21 foreign nationals found to be in violation of residency regulations were apprehended last week, with legal measures taken before they were handed over to the Foreigners Police.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Citizens were urged to report any incidents to police stations in order to safeguard their rights and assist in securing their communities through cooperation between security agencies and the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Separately, the committee emphasized that venues and clubs screening World Cup matches must comply with directives issued by the state Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, including the completion of all legal and technical procedures and permits following approval by security authorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The committee further announced that all preparations had been completed for securing the closing ceremony of the Elite League Championship for Premier League clubs, scheduled for next Wednesday at Khartoum Stadium.
