The attacks have caused extensive damage to these facilities, forced several of them out of service, and triggered power outages across large areas, further exacerbating the suffering of the civilian population.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In this regard, the Arab League recalled League Council Resolution No. 9246, issued on May 11, 2026, which strongly condemned attacks targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities in Sudan, as well as the resulting loss of life and damage to public and private property.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Arab League warned that the deliberate targeting of power stations and civilian facilities that do not constitute military objectives represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and constitutes a war crime that warrants accountability and prosecution.
