They also highlighted the close link between security and development and emphasized that the Arab and African countries bordering the Red Sea bear exclusive responsibility for safeguarding its security and stability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The meeting also discussed the French position on these issues and reviewed the results of France&#8217;s efforts, both within the framework of the European Union and at the bilateral level, to achieve de-escalation and reduce tensions in the region.
