He also urged the council to condemn any intervention, involvement, or financial, military, or logistical support that could undermine the country&#8217;s stability and fuel the war against its people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In his address to the 56th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo, Al-Aieser called for serious and responsible positions to halt the involvement of countries supporting the militia, protect the Sudanese people, and safeguard their security and stability. He stressed that the blood being shed by Sudanese people is Arab blood and that Sudan&#8217;s suffering is a shared Arab concern.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The minister appealed to the voice of reason in Arab countries involved in supporting the militia, urging them to withdraw their support for a force that is killing Sudanese people and shedding the blood of innocent civilians. He emphasized the need to uphold the principles and Charter of the Arab League, foremost among them respect for state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-interference in internal affairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Al-Aieser also stressed the importance of Arab media playing a more effective role in conveying the reality of the situation in Sudan and highlighting the suffering of its people and their aspirations for security, peace, and stability, away from selectivity, misinformation, and oversimplification of the crisis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He further called for confronting hate speech and any narratives targeting Sudan&#8217;s social fabric, supporting the country&#8217;s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and backing efforts to end the war and rebuild the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Aieser has called on the Council of Arab Information Ministers to adopt a clear and firm Arab position regarding attacks carried out against Sudan by the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia from Ethiopian territory.
