Saudi Arabia – Sudan Events<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al-Ahly of Egypt snatched the bronze medal from Japan’s Urawa Dynamos after defeating them today, Friday, 4\/2, for the third-place match.<\/p>\n

Al-Ahly took an early lead in the 19th minute with a goal by Yasser Ibrahim, and five minutes later Percy Tau increased the score for Al-Ahly with a second goal, and before entering the break, the Japanese team reduced the score through Kante in the 43rd minute.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the second half, Urawa equalized the score from the penalty spot by Alexander Schulz, then Al-Ahly took the lead again with a third own goal before Maaloul dashed the Japanese hopes with a fourth goal after missing a penalty kick in the 75th minute.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth time that Al-Ahly of Cairo has achieved third place in the Club World Cup, after winning the bronze medal in 2006 – 2020 – 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
