Boats Approach Ship near Yemen Coast

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) received a report regarding six small boats heading towards a commercial ship in the Red Sea on Saturday.
According to the UKMTO report, the boats were approaching the commercial ship approximately 50 nautical miles east of the port city of Mukha in Yemen.
According to the agency’s report, the boats are located about a mile away from the ship.

Back on December 19, the US announced a global naval task force to safeguard shipping in the contentious waters.
However, out of the 20 countries, only the United Kingdom has directly contributed warships, leaving Washington to effectively “act alone” against Ansarullah, reported Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar from Djibouti on the edge of the Red Sea.
