Cape Verde Beats Mozambique to Qualify for Africa Cup

The Cape Verdean national team qualified for the second round after achieving a broad victory over its Mozambican counterpart by three clean goals today, Friday, at the “Felix Boigny” stadium in the second round of the second group of the African Nations Championship.

Cape Verde’s goals were scored by its players, Pepe – Ryan Mendes and Kevin Pena, and as a result, the team nicknamed the “Blue Sharks” raised its score to 6 points at the top of the group standings, 4 points ahead of its closest competitor, the Egyptian team, which has two points.
