* Dr. Walid: It came as a result of experimentation

Music critics celebrated the song (Forgiveness ), Tasafi which was released this January of this year, as it addresses a young audience through the attraction tools set by director Tayeb Siddiq, by introducing into it an interlude of dynamic dancing, or what is known as (Zanq) music.
Godfather and Audience
Awadallah Bashir, member of the Aqd Al-Jallad band, was the first to applaud and call for the necessity of employing dance music in modern singing.
The art of dynamic dancing for Zaniq songs and their themes deserves to be celebrated and documented for this effort of the beautiful youth.
It is dated that the musician Ayman Al-Rub’, son of the singer Salah Brown, is the godfather of this type of music and the first to work with it with the accompaniment of the organ.
It gained wide acceptance, then it expanded and those who performed it became stars, including the musician (Nigerian), famous for zumbar.
He is the master of music and Zaniq singing in the artistic arena and has remained. It affects hundreds of youth because of its wide fame, which led the Narcotics Control Committee to use it to raise awareness among young people.
Loud Music
Professor of Music at the College of Music and Drama, Dr. Walid Al-Jak confirmed that Ayman Al-Rub’ was the first to come up with this type of music and added: It seems to be a hybrid of musical compositions that rely on noise in the use of what is known as distortion, which is a mix of loud sound waves also accompanied by rhythm, so I think it is an innovation that evolved from one form to another.
It proceeded by introducing new things at each stage until it reached collective dancing… meaning a rhythmic and melodic idea that developed little by little, and then certain dances were created as something complementary to the musical palette.
Hybrid and Experimental
It is a hybrid music that is not classified as jazz or other musical styles.
According to Al-Jack, all musical styles and phenomena came about through experimentation, because the law in music for any style followed thinking and presenting it to the listener and the extent to which people understand it. He added: Music is a loose science that can be experimented with.
So that it is not governed by a single law, whether at the global, regional or local level.
For example, in building and construction, there is a law regarding mixing sand with cement and digging the foundation, but in music, it is not possible to restrict any melodic culture specific to a specific group to a unified harmonic template or similar to another culture, and so on, for example.
No Relation with jazz
Perhaps because Ayman Al-Rub’ comes from a musical family with a connection to jazz and modern music – his father’s path – it has been rumored that this dance music is related to the art of jazz. However, the singer Al-Jilani Al-Wathiq denied in an exclusive interview with Sudan Events that prayer: There is no relation between what is known as “Zaniq” and jazz music. . Jazz is a completely different style, a different construction style in terms of melodic structure and musical arrangement, the use of instruments and the way of singing. Even the single word Zaniq is new to me. There is no musical term in this form.
It is a style created by young people to express a specific situation and it has spread, but it is not an advanced style from a musical standpoint, nor a solid foundation for the song with all its melodic musical dimensions, nor the relation of the two topics to each other.
New Music
Music player Mohamed Jawish, a member of the Union of Musical Professions, confirmed that “Al-Zaniq” music is a new music that has recently appeared and has an audience among young people. It was started and composed by the organ player Ayman (Al-Rub’), and after that it spread and many organ players followed it, and male and female singers sing to its music. Youth it is currently classified as “Zaniq” music.
