Sinnar State: SSMO Seizes Expired Commodities

The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO), Sinnar State Branch, has seized a store containing (223)boxes of spoiled soft drinks due to poor storage. They were seized and all necessary procedures were taken for the purpose of destruction.
Engineer Abu Yazid Al-Sheikh Al-Tayeb, Director of the Sinnar State Branch, stated that the inspection teams are ready and willing to seize all expired products that do not conform to SSMO specifications and punish those who tamper with consumer health.
He stressed his keenness to tighten control over the state of Sinar and its localities and demanded immediate reporting of any violation through the SSMO offices in Sinja and Sinnar.
