Artillery Corps: Security for Mining Areas

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited (SMRC), Mohammad Taher Omar Ali, has emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination with the Atbara Artillery Command in securing mining areas, pointing out during his visit to the command headquarters in Atbara today, the Artillery Corps’ contributions to securing mining areas in the River Nile State.
In the meantime, the Military Commander of the Atbara Artillery Corps, Major General Mohamed Al-Amin, praised the efforts of the SMRC in supervising and controlling the mining sector, pledging to support the company’s policies to increase production and preserve the country’s resources.
He also announced that more efforts would be made to tighten further security around mining areas in the River Nile State.
