Media Secretary of the Goldsmiths and Gold Exporters Division, Atef Ahmed, confirmed the smooth flow of gold exports despite the continuation of the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Militia, pointing out that the volume of exports reached about four tons within three months.
However, Atef renewed his demand during his speech to (Sudan Events) for the necessity of implementing the unified panel to speed up gold export procedures, indicating that the smooth flow of gold exports contributes to the stability of the exchange rate of the Sudanese pound.
Gold prices witnessed stability in Sudan, as the 24 karat ounce recorded approximately 2,035 US dollars, the price of a gram of 21 karat reached 34,273 pounds, while the price of a gram of 24 karat reached about 39,168 pounds, while the price of a gram of 18 karat reached 29,377 pounds.
