UN Warns of Severe Malnutrition and Calls for a Quick Response to a camp in Darfur

The Deputy United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Darfur, Toby Harward, called on the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to respond quickly to the malnutrition crisis in the Zamzam camp for displaced people in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur state.
In his post, Harward referred to new reports of a hunger crisis in camps for displaced people in Darfur, affirming that there is an urgent need for more aid in Sudan.
