Joys of Victory Make one Option for War

By: Zain Al-Abideen Saleh Abdul Rahman

The joy that flooded many neighborhoods of Omdurman, with the meeting of the military mobile coming from Karary with the mobile engineers in southern Omdurman, which confirms the complete military closure of the areas of “Al-mulazmeen, Bayt Al-Mal, and Aburouf” in which there are elements of the Janjaweed, especially those who are occupying the “Radio and Television” building, knowing that they will be prevented from military and food, and therefore they have no choice but to surrender themselves to the armed forces. Omdurman became under the control of the Sudanese army… where the focus became on the Saliha area… and then supporting the forces in Bahri and Khartoum… so that, God willing, the military mobiles from the capital would meet those coming from Gezira. The chanting of women and the calls of fathers and the mothers who ascended to the heaven will hasten the complete victory and defeat of the militia in the regions of the country. Sudan is free of militias. That is, the emergence of a phase with new conditions for the political process… a phase that confirms that the Sudanese alone must solve their country’s problems without other countries poking their noses into its internal affairs.
The masses rushing towards their armed forces to celebrate victory, and the cohesion of the military mobiles, confirms the insistence of the masses and soldiers to continue the war until victory, and not to pay attention to the calls for humiliation and defeat practiced by some groups searching for their personal interests, and trying to save the process of defeating the militia, because they believe that defeating the militia militarily means defeating the project that led to the outbreak of war. The military leadership itself has gone beyond the stage of political maneuvering and tactics that were required by the previous stages, with the aim of reducing external pressures on it, which was practiced by the Quartet, “America, Britain, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates, supported by the European Union,” and also by the Troika, “the African Union, IGAD, and the United Nations.” These people were looking at the Sudanese issue through their interests, and their attempts were aimed at raising the political forces that they believed don not stand against these interests. The perseverance of the leaders of those externally supported forces was great, but they were in the wrong direction, as they bet on the outside world rather than the masses, which made them, lose the required public support that, aborted all their political and media attempts and plans. .. It is true that they were active; But it is effectiveness is without achieving any results on the ground that would make them politically influential in the future. They have one solution: To break the wall that they have built between themselves the masses, and this requires them to apologize and criticize their previous practices, and to accept the conditions of the new political equation, that the inclusive national dialogue in Sudan be the solution and without any exclusion… so as not to make a counter-call to exclude everyone stood away from supporting the army and defeating the militia. They also understand that the tense relationship between the political forces and the army does not help the country’s renaissance. A good relationship must be built between the two sides in order that the democratic transformation process would succeed.
And the army leadership, despite the olive grove that Shams Al-Din Al-Kabbash told us about from the Kosti platform, will not stand against the project to defeat the militia. The last speech of this leadership was by General Shams Al-Din Al-Kabashi, in which he stated that there is no return to the “framework agreement and there is no return.” “To external dictates.” The Kabashi’s loyalties determine the path drawn by the armed forces and supported by the masses. This is the new equation that will be difficult to break again. The war has changed the balance of power once again in favor of the masses, and the slogans of the masses confirm the permanence of the December Revolution in “freedom, peace and justice.” Freedom is for us and for others… and access to power must return to the masses that choose their government through the ballot boxes . Unions also choose their leaders through ballot boxes instead of stealing the tongues of professionals and workers.
The ongoing war and trying to answer the questions: When will the war stop? Is it by victory or by negotiation? They are all distractions and distract people from focusing on their homes and what happened to them. When people return to their homes, they will find that the state of distress they were experiencing in the places of their displacement is lighter than knowing the truth about what happened to them in terms of theft, looting, destruction of their homes, and their misuse. That moment when the citizen feels real bitterness because he will face the truth without any frills. In that moment, the reaction becomes very violent. Whoever wants to apologize to the masses must hurry before victory over the militia. May Allah grant us good foresight.
