Leipzig defeats Mönchengladbach twice

RB Leipzig succeeded in achieving a valuable victory (2-0) at the expense of its guest, Borussia Mönchengladbach, in a match between them on Saturday at the Red Bull Arena, within the 22nd round of the German League competitions.
Leipzig lost its last match in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, with a clean goal, against Real Madrid. Leipzig was able to score a goal in the 14th minute through Xavi Simons, before Luis Obinda added a second goal in the 57th minute to secure the victory for the hosts.
Leipzig strengthened its position in fifth place in the German League standings with 40 points, while Borussia Mönchengladbach’s balance froze at 22 points in fourteenth place.
