Former Official: UAE is a Partner in Janjaweed Crimes

Former Prime Minister’s Advisor,  Amjad Farid said that the current war is witnessing direct participation by the UAE in the crimes of genocide, murder, looting, displacement and rape committed by the Rapid Support RSF militia against the Sudanese.

The United Arab Emirates UAE continues to provide support to the Rapid Support Forces RSF militia in its war in Sudan, including the supply of weapons, equipment, and material and political support. The arrival of this war supply is facilitated through political bribes to countries such as Chad, Central Africa and Libya.

This is direct participation by the UAE in the crimes of genocide, murder, looting, displacement and rape committed by the Rapid Support Forces RSF militias against the Sudanese. The United Arab Emirates UAE partners with a fascist militia and participates in financing and committing atrocities against the Sudanese, then resorts to using its financial and economic influence to evade accountability.

These are not political allegations, but facts documented in United Nations UN reports and even published press reports.

What the UAE is doing is the largest criminal operation in the contemporary era.

It is high time for the world to take a principled stance and begin imposing sanctions on the real criminal parties behind the continuation of the war in Sudan.
