Director Mohamed Kordofan, director of Goodbye Julia, announced that the film won yesterday at Ibiza International Film Festival the Audience Award (his eighth),addition to the Critics Award for Best Film and the Distribution Award, which means showing the film in movies in all Spanish cities, bringing the total number of international awards for the film so far to 27 awards. .
Al-Kordfani said that this victory in particular has a special taste: Since writing the film, the biggest concern and challenge for me has been to make a film with high artistic value (Art House) that appeals to the general audience (mainstream), that is a type of film that I love very much, such as Bong Junho’s film “Prasit.” And the film “Sepression” by Asghar Farhadi, so winning the Critics Award, the Audience Award and the Distribution Award at the same festival heralds that the film has succeeded to some extent. Therefore, I say thank you to the audience and the Ibiza Film Festival jury.
