SSMO launches “For a safe consumer during Ramadan” campaign

The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization announced its continuation of the national consumer awareness campaign under the slogan: For a safe consumer in Ramadan.
Rahba Saeed Abdullah, Director General of the Organization, revealed that the campaign, despite the war conditions, was launched before the beginning of the holy month, and included intensive inspection campaigns in the settled states and controlling the movement of imports at the ports, in addition to knowledge files diversified across different media platforms with the aim of enhancing consumers’ awareness of the Center and the states through various media forms, with the participation of creators, media professionals and experts in providing guidance messages. The program will also include presenting messages through the Friday sermon, spreading the culture of standardization and consumer rights through state radio, and cultural sports nights with the participation of sports and community stars.
Noting that the Organization will continue its role in the field of social responsibility by providing support and assistance to those affected by war and displacement
