The Al-Ailafoun Resistance Committees Report Serious Violations and Atrocities Rapid Support Militia

Al-Ailafoun City Resistance Committees, a civil body that leads service work in cities and residential neighborhoods in Sudan, appealed to the international community to intervene and put pressure on the Rapid Support militia that stormed the city located 30 kilometers east of Khartoum yesterday, Friday, to open safe corridors for citizens to exit. They added that the city’s residents have been suffering since three days due to militia violations.
The committee said, according to the text of its urgent statement, “The Rapid Support militia practiced on us the worst types of killing, torture, intimidation, provocation, and humiliation. They crucified the bodies, arrested the children, and. Many reports have spread including rapes of women, theft of stores, and storming of homes, and there is no longer a heinous act that was not committed.”
At the conclusion of its statement, the committee called for the necessity
that water and food be delivered to citizens forcibly detained by militia forces there.
