Al-Duwaim Youth Center witnessed the conclusion of Al-Duwaim cultural documentary evenings prepared and presented by journalist Haitham Mohamed Al-Sayed, director of the Blue Nile Channel’s press center.
The closing evening , entitled (Al-Dawim Girls ) reviewed the contributions of the city’s women in the fields of education, culture, medicine, and education, documenting the women’s giving throughout history.
The pioneers in the field of public work were reviewed, and the roles expected of the current generations of Al-Dawim girls were reviewed to achieve excellence and contribute to the renaissance of the city.
Participating in the evening were Najla Al-Dernok, a member of the Dowaim Development Initiative, and singer Ghada Mohamed Ahmed, a member of the Balambo band, who returned to singing after a long absence. She talked about her artistic beginning in Dowaim through the school competitions , from which she launched into national level and represented Sudan in a number of international forums in China, France, England, and all Gulf Countries.
Ghada expressed her happiness with the Al-Dawim evenings, which stirred up the city’s stagnation, and praised the efforts of journalist Haitham Mohamed Al-Sayed, who organizes the evenings in cooperation with the Youth Center.
The artist Sumaya Ali also participated and presented examples of the songs of enthusiasm and heritage in the dalouka, and she talked about her long experience with this color of the songs, and referred to the pioneers in the field of singing in the dowaim, starting with the daughters of Al-Zein, Zainab Atta, Al-Lakmawiyah, and Awadiya Hamdal Al-Nil, until the generation of female singers who were demonstrated in school courses, including Iman Tawfiq. Hala Al-Manna and Ghada Mohamed Ahmed.
Poet Awadiya Abbas also presented poems about love for the homeland, and talked about her cooperation with singers Mahmoud Tawer, Haitham Al-Doha, and Elaf Abdel Aziz. Singer Tamador Al-Nilein also participated in the evening and performed Hamas songs in support of the army.
Qasim Adam Naqi, Director of Al-Dawim Radio and Television, said that the doors of Al-Dawim Radio and Television are open to young people to spread their creativity and ideas.
In conclusion, the singers who participated in the evenings performed patriotic songs in a group performance led by Abdul Rasoul Marhum and Mujahid Abdul Azim, who received a warm reception from the audience, and Asaad Al-Amin, Ghada Mohamed Ahmed, Tamadur Al-Nilein, and singer Sumaya Ali, and they presented a wonderful patriotic painting at the end of the segments of the closing night of the Al-Dawim evenings.
