EU Accuses UAE for financing the militia to resolve the war

High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Vice President of the European Commission Janez Lenarcic, European Commissioner for Crisis Management, accused in a joint statement on Monday the United Arab Emirates UAE of directly financing the Rapid Support RSF militia to resolve the war.
The statement said: “We fear that Sudan will become a threat to security in Europe, and that this country will turn into a crossing point for human trafficking, extremist elements, weapons, and all kinds of illicit trade between the Sahel region, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa.”
