The poet Dr.Amna Nouri, wrote a poem of greetings to the homeland, found approval.
The poem stanzas say:
I invited you to your birthday, my country
Peace and safety
Longing to join the Nile
On the beach
On my family and my people
And on the neighbors
On the lips and kandaka
And the two lovers
On Khartoum.. on Bahri
And on Omdurman
On Darfur, our crying country
It’s been a while
And our brave island
NASA Yama Hanan
He hardly stopped chanting
And on the books the country has a title
And on you all, Sudan
Peace and safety
Peace and safety.
