Freedom and Change “Democratic Bloc and powers of National Consensus stressed the importance of embarking on a national project that unites the country and agreeing on a comprehensive political, social and economic vision.
A delegation from the Democratic Bloc, headed by Nabil Adeeb, and the National Consensus powers headed by Mubarak Al-Fadil, met to discuss the catastrophic situation the country is experiencing as a result of the devastating war of crimes and violations committed by the Rapid Support RSF militia.
In a statement on Wednesday, the two parties affirmed the importance of unifying efforts between national and political powers and civil society to extricate the country from the worsening crisis.
The two parties renewed their support for the state’s civil and military institutions, their bias towards the Sudanese people in this difficult stage that the country is going through, and their support for the armed forces in their defense to preserve the unity of the Sudanese state.
The attendees stressed the importance of continuous communication and consultation between the various parties to develop a unified political position and to establish a transitional phase that aims towards a transformation and a democratic system that expresses the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
