AL-Burhan: There is Nothing to Prevent Taking Measures against Foreigners and Deporting them to their Countries

President of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, has praised the great sacrifices and steadfastness made by the Khartoum government, led by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza.
Al-Burhan said, “We are ready to support the state until the citizen stabilizes and does not leave his home.” He added, “All Sudanese look with great appreciation at the Khartoum State government for its insistence on the presence of state agencies among the citizens.”
Al-Burhan added that the loss of financial resources that befell Khartoum State affected all of Sudan, expressing his regret at the halt in workers’ salaries. However, we will work to help Khartoum State to provide the minimum services.
Al-Burhan asked the Khartoum state government to consider opening some schools to encourage citizens to return.
Regarding his response to the demand of the governor of Khartoum to take measures against foreigners, Al-Burhan confirmed that there is nothing preventing taking measures against foreigners and deporting them to their countries, as all countries do. Al-Burhan revealed the issuance of a regulation to regulate alertness, which is being prepared, and the prevailing trend is for alert committees to work in the states under the supervision of security committees in the states.
