Sudan Events: Follow-ups
In the presence of a group of the brightest stars, the activities of the fourteenth edition of the Malmö Arab Film Festival kicked off in Sweden, with the participation of 26 movies.
The festival aims to discuss and exchange knowledge, as well as establish important and fruitful cinematic partnerships. The festival launched its 14th session with the participation of 26 movies, including the Sudanese movie “Goodbye Julia” by director Mohamed Kordofani, which was chosen for the opening screening.
At the opening, the festival honored Egyptian director Khairy Bishara for all of his works, in addition to Palestinian composer Muhammad Habbash and Syrian designer Maher Mozouq for their contribution to developing the festival’s music and logo.
The festival, which was launched for the first time in 2011, is one of the most prominent artistic events linking the Arab region and the Scandinavian countries in Northern Europe.
