Finance Minister to Participate in Important Meetings in Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibriel Ibrahim Mohammad is heading a government delegation at the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, which are being held this year in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the period April 27-30, 2024.
The delegation includes the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Burai Al-Siddiq Ahmed, the Undersecretary for Economic Planning, Mohammad Bashar Adam, and a number of technicians and specialists at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
During these meetings, Sudan is expected to present its vision regarding addressing arrears and resuming suspended projects.
The Minister of Finance will meet with the Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser, and some of the group’s specialized Funds managers, in addition to a number of his counterparts from some Arab and Islamic countries, within the framework of strengthening and deepening bilateral relations with those countries.
