A Sudanese movement nominates Nimir Abdelrahman for the position of member of the Sovereignty Council

The Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) nominated Nimir Abdelrahman for the position of member of the Sovereignty Council, succeeding Al-Hadi Idris.

Informed source from the movement informed Sudan Events that the movement dismissed its president, Al-Hadi Idris, and assigned Nimir Abdel-Rahman as its president.

He pointed out that the step is in light of expected amendments to the Sudanese government following the outbreak of war on April 15.
