An Unprecedented Rise in Price of Dollar

(Sudan Events) Follow-ups have revealed a significant rise in the price of the dollar against the Sudanese pound in the parallel (unofficial) market, as well as in banks.
Foreign exchange dealers told (Sudan Events) that foreign currency prices witnessed a new rise in Monday’s trading.
The selling price of the dollar reached 1,450 pounds, while the purchasing price reached 1,420 pounds, and the price of the Saudi riyal reached 384 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham reached 392.37 pounds, and the price of the Qatari riyal rose to 394.52 pounds.
At the meantime foreign currency prices rose in banks, the price of the dollar reached 1,175 pounds in the Bank of Khartoum, while it rose to 1,260 pounds in Omdurman Bank, and the dollar stabilized at 1,200 pounds in Faisal Bank.
