The Executive Director of Dongola Locality, Makkawi Al-Khair, has stressed the importance of the “Mineral Card” project in protecting miners from all threats and sound strategic planning based on correct information and data in order to develop the mining sector and benefit from its revenues in supporting the national economy and various areas of work in the locality.
Makkawi pledged, during the inauguration of the office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited in the northern state, in cooperation with the locality of Dongola, the mineral card project in Souq Al-Qaab, and pledged to provide basic services to miners in the market in order to increase production and maximize revenues, and he indicated that his locality is continuing in cooperation with the office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company in the state , making Souq Al-Qaab one of the model markets. Makkawi praised the efforts and support of the miners in Souq Al-Qaab for the Battle of Dignity.
For his part, the director of the office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited in the northern state, Abdul Rahman Mahjoub Al-Nadeef, said that the mining inventory project and the mineral card will achieve a number of benefits for workers and the state, noting that Al-Qaab market is considered one of the typical markets with the least problems and completely free of security breaches, adding that the project is progressing, adding that the project did well in the mining markets in the state’s 11 localities, praising the level of coordination and arrangement made by the market managers to make the inventory and mineral card project a success. He said that the company’s efforts are continuing to legalize, organize and develop the traditional mining sector in a way that contributes to supporting the areas of economic, development and social work. He praised the contributions and support of the producers in Souq Al-Qaab to the armed forces in the battle of dignity that they are waging against the rebels, agents and mercenaries, in addition to their great role in securing the northern state.
It is noteworthy that the inauguration also took place in a number of localities, including Al-Barqiq and Al-Dabbah localities, in the presence of the security committees and directors of the executive offices of these localities.
