Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, the current Paris Saint-Germain striker, has agreed to face Usain Bolt in the 100-meter race. The legendary Jamaican athlete challenged the Paris Saint-Germain forward to a Bolt race. He recently suggested during an interview that Mbappe should line up against him in a charity race, and also spoke of his admiration for the 25-year-old striker, who is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join Real Madrid this summer, with Bolt admitting he was “inspired” by Mbappe. During a promotional talk, co-organised by a major sportswear company, Mbappe also responded to Bolt’s challenge by saying it was “a pleasure” to be inspired by the Jamaican, who made a brief foray into football after retiring from athletics.
“It will be fun, why not do something nice one day if we have enough time, I don’t expect much from the result.” Mbappe added.
