Arrangements for Partnerships with Iran in Mining

Minister of Minerals Muhammad Bashir Abu Nammu has announced Sudan’s readiness to cooperate with Iran and seek to conclude economic partnerships and implement many strategic mining projects.
Abu Nammu confirmed in press statements following his meeting (Tuesday) with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Iranian Embassy in Sudan, Khaled Al-Sheikh, during which they discussed ways of joint cooperation between Khartoum and Tehran, especially investment prospects between the two countries. Abu Nammu confirmed the readiness to present investment projects in the mining sector to the Iranian side, and to provide more of coordination and arrangements to hold bilateral meetings in the near future.
