The Army Disavows “Tearing Entrails” Video and Accuses Militia of Making It

Events – Follow-ups

The Sudanese Armed Forces denied any connection between its members and a video that recently appeared on social media, showing two people removing the entrails of a dead person and dismembering them in a gruesome manner.
The Armed Forces said in a statement on Tuesday that those who appeared in the video have no connection to any of the components of the Battle of National Dignity, including forces and mobilized, and do not wear any of the forces’ uniforms, which confirms that it is a poorly directed play made by the militia and its agents, and it is not the first since the beginning of this war that they have kindled and prepared its fires for a long time.
The Army added, “The Dagalo Clan terrorist militia media and their assistants tried to attribute this crime to the armed forces and claim that the perpetrators of it were among our members. These are miserable attempts that did not deceive our proud people, who met these attempts with ridicule and disbelief due to their knowledge of their armed forces, which throughout their long history have adhered to the laws and customs of war and the rules of engagement, unlike the Dagalo militia, to which the whole world witnessed its barbaric practices and its violation of any law, custom, or human values, which affected military personnel and civilians alike, including killing prisoners in cold blood, looting citizens’ property, forcibly detaining people who had nothing to do with the fighting, raping women and minors, burying the dead alive, and mutilating the bodies of martyrs, This is evidenced by their heinous crimes in Darfur, Kordofan, Khartoum, Medani, and the villages of Gezira, where these violations have not stopped until these moments.”

The armed forces renewed their commitment and strict adherence to international humanitarian law and the norms regulating war as professional national forces that did not expect themselves to be dragged behind the practices and lies of the Al-Daglo militia and its assitants.
