On Tuesday, Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Malik Agar, received in his office in Port Sudan, Saad Abdul Rahman Bahr Al-Din Sultan of Dar Masalit, after his return from Paris.
Agar received full enlightenment about his participation in the Paris conference.
Sultan Bahr Al-Din explained in a press statement that their participation in the Paris conference aborted the largest regional and international plan to divide Sudan.
Bahr Al-Din revealed that their participation contributed to the cancellation of the conference, which lasted only hours and no final statement was issued.
He pointed out that the delegation visited the French Parliament and met with the Chairman of the Social Committee and briefed him on the needs of Sudanese refugees in Egypt, Chad, Uganda, South Sudan and Libya who are living in poor humanitarian conditions.
He added that the delegation met with a number of French humanitarian organizations and were enlightened about the difficult living conditions resulting from the ongoing war.
Bahr Al-Din said that the delegation met with a number of members of the Sudanese community and explained to them the scheme and conspiracy hatched to divide Sudan, noting that those present showed great response, which strengthened the national spirit.
He explained that the Vice President of the Sovereign Council issued a number of directives that will be dealt with and adhered to.
