Arrangements to Create Alternative Roads For Those Affected by War

Member of the Sovereign Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General, Marine Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, was briefed on the performance of the Ministry of Urban Development, Roads and Bridges, its plan for the next stage, and the challenges facing the establishment of alternative routes to roads and bridges that were affected by the war.
During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan (Wednesday) with the Minister of Urban Development, Roads and Bridges, Abdullah Yahya, he received a complete enlightenment about the infrastructure, roads and bridges and the difficulties and challenges associated with the fall season. The Minister of Urban Development, Roads and Bridges, Abdullah Yahya, explained in a press statement that the ministry has begun rehabilitation and maintenance work for alternative roads after directing the state to work on developing the infrastructure and national roads in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Finance, he pointed out that work is now well underway on the Gedaref Al-Rahad road, under the supervision of the National Authority for Roads and Bridges, and is being implemented by 13 companies and will be opened within a month.
