Beginnings
Ahmed and Hussein Al-Sadiq are considered among the owners of charitable initiatives in the artistic community. Hussein and Ahmed entered the artistic community side by side. They began at an early age through the art of praise, which they learned at the hands of one of their father’s disciples in one of the cells in the Al-Thawra area in Omdurman.
Hussein and Ahmed appeared at a time when the singing arena was filled with new voices. Marketers embraced these talents and named them (Dr.) Hussein Al-Sadiq and (Emperor) Ahmed Al-Sadiq, and they advanced in the arena with all stability until they became pillars of the famous “Songs and Songs” show, which used to be presented every Ramadan on screen Blue Nile Channel.
Art is humanity
The artist Hussein Al-Sadiq was known for humanitarian situations, and he often expressed his opinion that singing is not a trade, but rather a feeling of necessity. Whoever feels the need to sing feels the suffering of others.
In previous conversations, Hussein explained his position that singing is not just words to memorize, but rather meanings that deserve to be managed with a little awareness, he discovered the responsibility this entails and the certainty that singing is not a trade, but rather contains a quantity of human feelings.
Art critic Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Hajj said that Hussein Al-Sadiq never failed to be (as much as you said),
“Years ago, before the war, he told me: Professor, I am dependent on the voluntary work of any humanitarian or national initiative. And here he is, on time at a time of quarrels and national bidding, at a time where Cairo’s “Guans” (a type of singers) are taking the position that an artist should take, which is to stick to the people and help them with their issues.” He said.
