The General Administration of Public Transport and Petroleum in White Nile State has announced an increase in the prices of benzene and gasoline.
Director of the Department of Public Transport and Petroleum in the state, Abdul Basit Jaafar Ibrahim, said that the increase came after the recommendation of the joint meeting held between the General Administration of Public Transport and Petroleum, the Council for the Development and Regulation of Public Transport, and the Economic Committee in the state.
The Minister of Finance of White Nile State, Fatima Al-Hajj Al-Tayeb, agreed to amend the pricing structure.
The new circular specified that the price composition of fuel in the localities of Kosti, Rabak Al-Qatina and Al-Duwaim for a liter of benzene would be (2,278.66) pounds, and the price of a gallon of benzene would be (10,254) pounds, while the price of a liter of gasoline would be (2,198) pounds, and the price of a gallon of gasoline would be (9,891). ) pounds, provided that an amount of 20 pounds is added to the price structure of gasoline and free benzene in the localities of Tandelti, Umm Rumta, rural Al-Dawim, and Al-Jabalin, the value of the gallon transfer.
The meeting recommended adding an amount of 50 pounds to the price formula for gasoline and free benzene per gallon for Al Salam locality. The meeting also recommended specifying the purchase price on any invoice and also recommended collecting the price difference for the benefit of the Ministry of Finance in the event that the purchase price becomes less than the price combination price.
