During videos from Omdurman Fayza Amseeb: Love and unity are the future of drama

The able dramatist Fayza Amseeb sent several videos from her headquarters in the city of Omdurman to a number of personalities in the drama community, but her most important concern is a recording of all the dramatists in which she reassured everyone of her health and advised them to be united and to love each other. “Love each other and have good intentions so that we can return to how we were with our elders who came before us and helped us and guided us without hatred.” She said. “Drama revolves around people whose intentions are pure to be brothers and lovers. After the war, we need to open a new page,” She added. She asked them to be one hand, and she said addressing the dramaturists, “Be united and be one hand, and with your unity you will be able to impose your opinion on governments.”
Starting and wandering
Faiza Amseeb is a Sudanese actress, one of the pioneers of Sudanese theatre. She was able to make her way to stardom through a long artistic career full of achievements and valuable works in the field of acting at the local and international levels. Amseeb was born in the city of Rifa’a, where she first grew up.
She began her artistic career with an academic qualification, which is a diploma in acting – Faculty of Drama – Higher Institute of Music and Theater. She began building her artistic abilities from a young age, as she was raised by her aunt, through which she was able to travel to a large number of the country’s states, due to her (aunt’s) husband’s work as a mobile government employee. This travel increased her artistic journey through which she learned about the terrain, rituals, and climates of a number of the states of the country.
Awards
Amseeb was named winner of a number of awards and honoring ceremonies, including the 2013 Arab Theater Festival. She was also honored at the eighth session of the Luxor African Film Festival in March 2019.
One of the important roles in her life was the movie (Erq Al-Balah).
The film’s events take place in a small village in Upper Egypt, where people live in extreme poverty. A strange man arrives in the village inviting people to travel to work in the Gulf countries. All the men travel except for the helpless grandfather and his grandson Ahmed, and disasters begin to spread in the village in the absence of men. The work was directed by Radwan Al-Kashef, Muhammad Shaaban (Assistant Director) Written by Radwan Al-Kashef and cast by Sherihan Abla Kamel, Hamdi Ahmed Muhammad Nagati, Fayza Amseeb Jamal Ismail.
