The poet Abdul Wahab Halawi narrated a number of funny songs.
“I once met the artist singer Youssef Al-Mousili in the radio station halls, and after greeting him, he said that there is a song from the girls’ songs that caught my attention. I wish we could change its lyrics and that different words should be written instead.” He said.
“Of course, this type of writing is really difficult and requires craftsmanship.” Halawi added. “We left for our home in Halfaya, and before his hospitality was complete, he made me listen to his bare voice.” He continued “The melody was really sweet and attractive. I heard it twice, then I took a pen and paper, and started writing, and within an hour, the text and melody were complete.” He added.
“Youssef grabbed a pen and paper, and it was only a few weeks ago that Al-Mawsili was singing it, and months later I heard the friend Adel Muslim singing it.” He added.
