Musician Dr. Al-Mahi Suleiman is in bed these days in the hospital in Abu Dhabi.
The musician Al-Mahi Suleiman, professor of music at the Faculty of Music and Drama, Sudan University, is considered one of the pillars of Sudanese music and song. He specializes in oriental music and a former member of the Arab Academy for Music at the League of Arab States. He heads several artistic committees, including the Melodies and Voices Committee of the Sudanese Radio and the Music Department of the National Authority for Culture and Arts. He has many contributions in the fields of music composition and composing.
