Depositing last August’s salaries for Gezira Employees

Ministry of Finance in Gezira state announced deposit of August 2023 salaries for all workers in the state, whose number exceeds 60,000 male and female Employees.
The Minister of Finance, Economy and Manpower in Gezira state , Atef Mohamed Ibrahim Abu Shouk, affirmed in a press statement on Friday that the August 2023 salaries were deposited into the accounts of localities, ministries and agencies in preparation for starting the disbursement process for employees immediately.
The step taken by Gezira government, despite the war conditions it has been experiencing since December 2023, found widespread relief and satisfaction among employees.
