Killing of15 civilians in militia shelling of El Fasher

(15) civilians were killed and dozens were injured on Tuesday, as a result of artillery shelling by the Rapid Support RSF Militia on residential neighborhoods in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.
Eyewitnesses from Abu Shouk El Hilla, Naivasha IDP camp and Al Nasr neighborhood said, according to (Darfur 24), that the random artillery shelling launched by the Rapid Support Forces RSF on Tuesday targeted citizens’ homes in the camp, killing and wounding dozens who were taken to various health centers in the neighboring neighborhoods to receive treatment, addition to sending serious cases to the Saudi hospital.
Adam Ibrahim, an IDP from Naivasha camp, revealed, according to (Darfur 24), that 11 people were killed in Naivasha, including patients’ companions who were in an outpatient clinic in Block 3 of the camp, in addition to the killing of another woman in one block.
Local sources in Al Nasr neighborhood reported that 4 civilians were killed in the neighborhood, and at least 19 others were injured, including children.
In the same context, a medical source at the Saudi Hospital, who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed to (Darfur 24) that a number of people wounded by artillery shelling from different neighborhoods in Al-Fasher were transferred to the hospital, but did not mention the total number of those injured.
